Setting Up Introductory Greetings
A quick guide to help you set up those introductory greetings for auto attendants and call queues
For Auto Attendants
- First, head over to the Auto Attendants page.
- Find and click on the Business Hours Auto Attendant.
- Next, click the Intro Greetings button, which looks like a speaker icon.
- From here, you’ll have two options:
- To update an existing greeting: Simply edit the current greeting and upload your new file.
- To add a new greeting: Click the Add Greeting button and then upload your recording.
For Call Queues
- Navigate to the Call Queues page.
- Locate the Business Hours Queue.
- On the right side of that specific queue’s row, click the second button to edit music on hold.
- This will take you to a new page with a “Music” section and a “Messages” section. You only need to focus on the “Messages” section.
- Click the Add Message button and upload your introductory greeting recording.
- Once your file is uploaded, go back to the Call Queues page.
- Click on the Business Hours Queue name.
- Click on Pre-Queue Options.
- Finally, set Require Intro MoH to Yes.
