Setting Up Introductory Greetings

A quick guide to help you set up those introductory greetings for auto attendants and call queues

For Auto Attendants

 

  1. First, head over to the Auto Attendants page.
  2. Find and click on the Business Hours Auto Attendant.
  3. Next, click the Intro Greetings button, which looks like a speaker icon.
  4. From here, you’ll have two options:
    • To update an existing greeting: Simply edit the current greeting and upload your new file.
    • To add a new greeting: Click the Add Greeting button and then upload your recording.

 

For Call Queues

 

  1. Navigate to the Call Queues page.
  2. Locate the Business Hours Queue.
  3. On the right side of that specific queue’s row, click the second button to edit music on hold.
  4. This will take you to a new page with a “Music” section and a “Messages” section. You only need to focus on the “Messages” section.
  5. Click the Add Message button and upload your introductory greeting recording.
  6. Once your file is uploaded, go back to the Call Queues page.
  7. Click on the Business Hours Queue name.
  8. Click on Pre-Queue Options.
  9. Finally, set Require Intro MoH to Yes.
